Confession Schedule

Confessions have resumed on Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. Use the west Virginia Avenue entrance and make a "car line" in front of the church. Stay in your car until an attendant tells you a priest is available.


All who are curious and interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith are invited to our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults classes (RCIA).

A RCIA Inquiry Session will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 6 PM in the Parish Hall located on the north side of the church. Register below to learn more!

At our Intro class you will have the opportunity to meet St. Francis of Assisi's Director of RCIA, Deacon John Harned, our pastor, Fr. Novak, and other people who are interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith.

RCIA Classes are held each Wednesday evening, beginning in the fall and continuing through Easter. Anyone is welcome to attend, and there is never any pressure to become Catholic.

To enroll St. Francis of Assisi Online Ministry schedule please print and fill out the PDF below. You may turn it in to an usher before or after mass, place it in the offering basket, or bring it to the church office Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

If you would like to become a Lector, Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion, Usher, Mass Coordinator, or Altar Server, but have not been trained in any of these ministries. Please contact the parish office at (405) 528-0485 to find out when the next training will be.



JULY 27, 2018: The brick of the FLC was washed and scaffolding removed to reveal the beautiful facade with cast stone and the overhead door was installed on the storage room on the north side of the FLC. Grateful to see results! Grateful for the generous donations that made all this possible! Grateful to God for his continued blessings upon our parish!

MARCH 20, 2018: Now that construction of the Family Life Center (Project 1 of 6) is underway we can commence with the Church Addition (Project 2) in May. This addition will include a men's and women's restroom, an extended porch for gathering before and after Mass (with handicap accessibility), and archway leading to the Parish Hall and Meerschaert House and a low brick wall wrapping around a formal garden underneath the five historic sycamore trees.

OCTOBER 7, 2017: Fifteen weeks after our Groundbreaking city permits are granted, variance is approved and construction has begun on our new Family Life Center.

JUNE 26, 2017: And so it begins! The Eichhoff Annex is being removed to make way for new Family Life Center that will contain a cafeteria that will function also as a multipurpose space and storm shelter. It will also have a commercial kitchen, a youth room, a nursery, meeting rooms, and storage.

JUNE 18, 2018: A 3,000 lbs. wreaking ball arrived today to remove the sidewalk on the north side of the church. The new addition will include restrooms, handicap accessibility to the main entrance and a brick arch to tie it all together. Project #2 is underway!
