Centenial Celebration

Throughout 2025, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church will celebrate our Centennial year as a parish. Over the last 100 years, this parish has been a place of encounter with the Lord, and the community around us has been irreversibly shaped by the witness of faith given by the many parishioners who have called this place home. 

There are many things we will do throughout the year to commemorate and celebrate 100 years of Faith and Communion here at St. Francis, so keep an eye out for details about special events, commemorative items, stories about the history of our parish, and many other things. We also want to hear from you, about the ways you have been impacted by St. Francis and the community you have found here.

At every Mass during our Centennial year, immediately following the final blessing, we will say together this prayer thanking God for the gift of our parish, and asking for the grace to continue bringing the Gospel to those around us. 

     Loving God, by your providence you moved our ancestors to establish St. Francis of Assisi as our spiritual home. Within this parish family, your people have been nourished, guided, and moved by your grace to a generous offering of their lives to you. Following the example of our patron, may we continue to embrace with confident humility the abundant life that Christ offers us. Let our charity and joy be a constant witness to others, as together we may press onward toward the life of heaven. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
