The purpose of the Legacy Society is to encourage planned gifts, and to honor parishoners and friends who have benefited St. Francis Church or Rosary School. Membership is open to those parishioners and friends who have already included our parish and/or school in their estate plans. Individuals admitted to the Society shall be recognized appropriately, and shall have their names added to the plaque which identifies our membership.
The Legacy Society is an unstructured organization having no officers or regular meetings. However, it will meet occasionally with our pastor to share our common satisfaction that we are providing for the future of our parish. Your membership in the Legacy Society will help encourage others to join.
Parishioners who are planning to include our parish in their estate planning should inform the pastor when these plans have been finalized, so they can also become members of the Legacy Society. Please complete the “Statement of Intent” form and send it to the pastor.
St. Francis Church and Rosary School exist because of the generosity and foresight of our parishioners many years ago. Because of those parishioners, we have a place to worship and to attend Catholic School. We have benefited greatly from these sacrifices.
People are extremely generous. Everyone has a special affinity for his or her church. While people are very charitable, often times they do not have the ability to make a significant gift at the current time. Planned gifts provide an option to retain the assets in your estate, and then donate them under your will to the church or school.
What better place to direct your charitable giving than the place that holds so many special memories? By utilizing a planned gift, you can provide for generations to come.
